I know that it is possible for an addict to quit using. I know this to be true because I have done it. I have been successful and I have relapsed, the one constant is, life sucks when you are addicted to drugs, and even when life really really sucks, it's worse when you are addicted to drugs or alcohol. I haven't quit quitting, and along the way I've learned a few things that helped and many that have not. I hope to share some of this knowledge with you, and hope that it makes your journey to recovery a little bit easier. We can do it, together. Being sober is so much easier than being an addict, all you have to do is keep quitting. I have been an addict for more years than I care to remember, actually, I can't really remember them.
